Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will support our healthcare providers by performing both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in patient intake, including gathering medical histories and updating records.
• Measure and record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations, and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical equipment.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
• Handle patient billing and insurance processing.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for outside laboratories.
• Assist in maintaining medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
