A recent report by Leapfrog Group, which monitors hospital safety processes, accident prevention, and medical errors, showed that overstressed Arizona hospitals struggle to keep patients safe from healthcare-associated infections. The experts place some of the blame on insufficient staff to care for patients adequately.
