Position Overview: As an MD/DO physician at Desert Medical Careers, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a diverse range of medical conditions while providing comprehensive care to your patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, educate patients on their health, and ensure the highest standards of care are met. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to determine their medical needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care and referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in patient care.
• Stay current with developments in your specialty and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current Arizona medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board certification or eligibility in your specialty is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
