  1. Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)

LPNs work under the supervision of registered nurses. LPNs commonly have supervisory duties over nursing aides and orderlies.

  3. Nurse Practitioner (NP)

If the physician assistant specializes in surgery assistance, the PA typically is responsible for preoperative and postoperative care.

  5. Occupational Therapist

    Job Description Occupational therapists work in extremely diverse settings. They can be found in just about every work environment, from hospitals and doctors’ offices to the homes of their clients. The primary goal of occupational therapists is to enable their patients to lead independent lives. This means assisting patients with essential life tasks, such as eating and bathing.

  6. Physical Therapist

    Job Description Physical therapists evaluate their patients’ current physical abilities such as coordination and motor function. Typically, they work in coordination with physicians to develop a rehabilitative plan to improve a patients’ mobility and alleviate pain.

  7. Medical Records Technician

    Annual Median Salary $34,160
    Job Description Medical records technicians organize and manage health information data. They translate records produced by health care providers into codes from various classification systems for insurance reimbursement purposes, databases and registries, and to maintain patients’ medical and treatment histories. Medical records technicians commonly work in hospitals and doctors’ offices, but this position can sometimes be partially or totally performed remotely.
